However, rather than steel, the tool box is constructed from aluminum, making the combo transfer tank lighter than full-steel models. This helps keep unnecessary weight off your truck to promote longer life and better gas mileage. The aluminum tool box of this combo transfer tank offers convenient storage and reliable security for your tools and equipment. It is constructed from 0.08 Inch mill-finished aluminum and features our patented RigidCore™ technology for a high-strength lid. The lid is comprised of two aluminum plates filled with a solid foam, making it extremely strong and rigid. The lid also has a MicroSeal™ gasket to further protect your items, and it self-opens to 90 Degrees for convenient, one-handed operation.
